Coming Soon Release Date TBD
Juliana was just a kid who wanted to ice skate to the beat of her own drum. Instead, they flaunted her in front of the world that judged her every move. With so many rules that forced her to conform, the Olympic collar was just too tight for comfort so she quit despite being a top contender for the next Winter Olympics.
She dropped off the face of the earth to go back to school and make something of herself but fate had other plans. Fate leads her to discover a rundown skate park one crappy day on the way home from class and it changes her life. She quits her job at the local grocery store to get a job as an attendant and meets a BMX small timer. It’s not long before Jules puts on a pair of Rollerblades and discovers a passion for the extreme and blading becomes her therapy.
Fast forward. Jules gets her engineering Degree at MIT, meets the man of her dreams, and gets married. She decides to make Boston her home while pursuing her Ph.D. to find a job in a man’s world with dreams of someday running her own ramp business. She pops out a couple of kids and works toward the American dream but that dream is cut short and she is forced into single parenthood.
This is where the story begins.
Devastated, Jules purchases the park. With the help of her family of misfit friends, Jules turns a beat-up old skate park into a mega state-of-the-art facility named Dreamfield and will soon launch her engineering creation to the world. The triple half pipe is an impressive sight to see whether you are a veteran in the sport or never watched a lick of extreme sports in your life. But there’s one problem: Time’s running out. Refusing to pay into the corporate trend of energy drinks, MTV, and media frenzies, she slowly discovers that it’s not easy to survive without them. With her husband’s trust depleted and mediocre profits, the money has run out and she’ll need a sponsor to keep things afloat.
Taylor Riggens is one of the industry’s leading Extreme Sports Agents with a law degree. He’s made a lot of money from his success and decides to break the monotony of his career by representing a small, family-owned Extreme Sports Apparel Company. His goal is to get them into the game of mainstream. After signing both the famous skateboarder, Robbie Stone, and motocross legend Corey Pratt, he hears rumors about a place called Dreamfield and pursues it as the backdrop to an event that he hopes would put his little apparel company on the map. But his efforts are blocked because the owner is a recluse who has turned every sponsor away at the door.
After months of waiting, Taylor finally gets a meeting and immediately schedules a tour. He is introduced to the staff and is completely taken aback by a fire engine redhead who is the facility manager. She has a PHD brain, talks like she owns the place and the attraction is explosive on his end despite her indifference. Then one night, he accidentally walks into Dreamfield and gets the surprise of his life which changes the game entirely. It also will bring enemies out of the woodwork.
Donald Fitzgerald is known for his sleazy business adventures and shady connections in high places. He couldn’t believe his luck when he turned on the TV and saw his ex-brother-in-law having a news conference about an up-and-coming arena. The people who know her most, have watched her run from her demons her entire life and they refuse to let her do it again, but will she listen? Together with her family of misfits, Jules must find the strength to fight not only Dreamfield but win it all!
